Caitlyn Wallace, LCSW, PMH-C
Caitlyn Wallace received her master’s degree in social welfare at the University of California, Berkeley in 2009 and completed a certificate training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International in 2017. Caitlyn is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada, where she provides integrated care to pregnant and postpartum clients, trauma survivors, and people experiencing life transitions. She incorporates acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), somatic interventions, eco-informed therapy, walk-and-talk therapy, and energy healing through reiki and emotional freedom technique (also known as EFT tapping).
Caitlyn caters to each individual client’s unique and innate needs and is particularly passionate about guiding clients through life transitions – especially navigating pregnancy and parenthood. As a therapist at Thrive Wellness Reno, Caitlyn works closely with perinatal mental health clients to encourage confidence in parenting and to heal generational trauma.
In addition to her work as a therapist, Caitlyn is a volunteer coordinator with Postpartum Support International and a founding member of the PSI Nevada state chapter.
