Rebecca McKibben

LCSW

Rebecca McKibben, LCSW, earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Nevada, Reno. She has experience working with children, teens, and adults, including families and groups. Her experience includes working with clients with anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, eating disorders, personality disorders, and other co-occurring disorders. Rebecca has a passion for working with the LGBTQIA+ community and those struggling with acceptance. Rebecca is trained in DBT as well as perinatal depression and anxiety through Postpartum Support International to treat clients with issues pertaining to pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. Rebecca is a compassionate person-centered therapist and knows that each person’s journey in life is different and comes with a variety of obstacles. Rebecca enjoys walking with people along this journey of life and teaching skills to navigate, endure, and overcome these obstacles. Rebecca recognizes that allowing yourself to be vulnerable through therapy takes courage and motivation for healing. In her time away from Thrive, Rebecca enjoys spending time outside with her wife, kids, and two dogs.
