Back-to-School Anxiety

A free, virtual workshop for parents of teens dealing with the back-to-school "blues".

Friday, August 1st | 12PM PST

Back-to-school season can bring more than just class schedules and supply lists—it can also stir up anxiety, dread, and emotional overwhelm for teens and their families.

It’s not just “first day jitters.” For many adolescents, the return to school surfaces deeper fears—about friendships, performance, identity, and self-image. And for parents, it can feel hard to know how to help. Is this normal stress or something more? When should you intervene—and how can you be a supportive presence without adding more pressure?

This August, Thrive Wellness invites you to a free, virtual workshop for parents of teens navigating back-to-school anxiety. Led by Thrive’s expert team of clinicians who specialize in adolescent mental health, this session will provide practical tools, grounded insight, and a roadmap for supporting your teen emotionally, relationally, and mentally as the school year begins.

Practical Strategies for Parents of Teens

In this one-hour webinar, we’ll cover the signs of deeper anxiety, strategies to help your teen feel seen and safe, and the steps to take when your child is struggling but unsure how to talk about it. Whether your teen is just starting high school or heading into their final year, this webinar will equip you with the tools you need to walk this season with greater clarity and compassion.
