Dialectical Behavior Therapy Group

Mondays at 1:00 p.m. (Virtual)
Led by Shannon Servi, MSW, LCSW

Developed in the late 1980s by Marsha Linehan, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) teaches tangible skills for creating a life worth living whatever that may mean to you. Linehan found that there are four aspects of life that are necessary to prioritize. Following the Linehan model, Shannon Servi, MSW, LCSW, teaches the four DBT skill sets: mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. 

Thrive’s DBT support group is open to clients who have a referral from their Thrive therapist.

Eating Disorder Recovery Support Group

Tuesdays at 5:00 p.m. (Virtual)
Led by various eating disorder specialists

It takes time for your mind, body, and spirit to heal following a struggle with an eating disorder. In this free support group, you’ll learn to become more in tune with your body’s cues, work through any mental health struggles, and discover a thriving support network to foster your recovery.

Open Community Hours at Biggest Little Baby

Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00pm
Led by various perinatal mental health specialists and held at Biggest Little Baby

Thrive is now hosting weekly community hours at Biggest Little Baby! Meet a perinatal mental health expert before or after the Circle of Babies group to ask questions about managing your mental health as a parent. Plus, learn about our “It Takes A Village” Day Program and other offerings such as our free perinatal mental health support groups and more.

Perinatal Loss and Grief Support Group

Wednesdays at 12:00 p.m. (Virtual)
Led by Megan Meaney, LSW, CSW-Intern

Begin healing from loss or grief related to perinatal struggles while surrounded by understanding individuals facing similar circumstances. This free support group is intended for individuals facing miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDS, early infant death, molar pregnancies, and other perinatal complications.

Perinatal Mental Health Support Group

Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. (Virtual)
Led by Lauren Kalogridis, Perinatal Program Manager

70 to 80 percent of parents will experience the “baby blues” after a little ones arrives. Around 20 percent of new parents experience perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), which interfere with their ability to find confidence and joy in pregnancy and parenthood. If you’re struggling with perinatal mental health, we welcome you to join our free support group which connects you to a community of healing.
