Julia Riggleman

LMSW, CSW-Intern

Julia is a Licensed Master Social Worker and Clinical Social Work Intern currently serving on the outpatient team at Thrive. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology, as well as a Master of Social Work from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Julia brings experience in working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in person-centered and behavioral frameworks, drawing from a holistic perspective that considers the interaction of thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. She integrates a variety of techniques including mindfulness, skills training, and exposure-based interventions to support each client's unique journey.

Julia is a sex worker-affirming provider and is passionate about offering inclusive, nonjudgmental support to individuals within that community.

Outside of her clinical work, Julia enjoys watching anime, playing video games, and spending time outdoors walking her dog.
