Danielle Yantis
RDN
Registered Dietitian
Danielle “Dani” Yantis has been a clinical dietitian for more than 25 years. Dani earned her bachelor’s degree from California Polytechnic State University in Nutrition Science with a minor in psychology. While in college, a job caring for an eight-year-old child with type 1 diabetes sparked a lifelong interest in diabetes care, an area that has since become her professional specialty. Dani earned her master’s degree from San Jose State University and later became a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She finds great fulfillment in guiding those with diabetes through every phase of their learning and self-management journey.
A highlight of Dani’s career was founding her own private practice, where she expanded her expertise into functional and integrative nutrition. Guided by her belief that “food is medicine,” she is passionate about preventing disease and promoting wellness through lifestyle interventions. Her greatest joy comes from helping clients achieve optimal health through balanced, evidence-based nutrition therapy.
In addition to diabetes care, Dani’s areas of specialization include gastrointestinal and autoimmune disorders, cardiovascular health, food allergies, and maternal and child nutrition. She works with clients of all ages starting from age two and up, helping each person create a sustainable path toward long-term wellness.
