Megan Dominguez, M.S., LADC, LMSW, CSW-Intern attended the University of Nevada, Reno, where she earned bachelor’s degrees in psychology and Spanish as well as a master’s degree in human development and family studies with a specialization in addiction treatment. She also earned a master’s in social work with a specialization in mental health and trauma from the University of Denver.

Megan’s career experience includes working with the criminal justice population as well as women and their families as a licensed alcohol and drug counselor, working in medication-assisted treatment, and working as a support staff team member at an eating disorder treatment program. She has also worked with Northern Nevada nonprofits STEP2 and Bristlecone Family Resources to support the recovery of local individuals and families. As a therapist at Thrive Wellness Reno, Megan works with adolescent and adult clients in treatment for eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Inspired by the value of service to others instilled in her by her grandmother, Megan is passionate about helping people achieve positive life changes on their unique journeys to recovery. When she is not supporting the well-being of others, Megan enjoys reading, crocheting, painting, and playing video games.
